Hi, I’m Hannah—Registered Nurse, Abdominal Therapist, and Board-Certified Nurse Coach.

My work is rooted in both science and intuition. I believe deeply in evidence-based care and know that true healing often requires more than lab values, symptom lists, or a ten-minute appointment.

Because the body is not just physical.
It is emotional. Energetic. Intelligent.
And it is always communicating.

This is what Whole People was created to honor.

My Path Into This Work

I’ve felt called to support healing for as long as I can remember.

My formal training began shortly after high school, when I became a massage therapist in California. From a young age, I was drawn to the deeper connection between the body, energy, and emotional experience and longed to make it part of my life’s journey.

In 2003, I was trained in Abdominal Therapy (then known as the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy). This work became a foundational part of my practice and continues to shape how I understand the body today, especially the role of the abdomen as a center of circulation, nervous system regulation, and emotional holding. Over time, I expanded my work to include pregnancy massage and doula support, and even before formal Reiki training, I found myself intuitively working with energy, supporting the body’s natural healing processes in ways that felt both subtle and deeply impactful.

In 2016, I became a Registered Nurse. Nursing gave me structure, clinical depth, and a strong foundation in evidence-based care. It strengthened my ability to assess, understand, and support the body through a medical lens. But it also showed me something equally important: That many people were not being seen as whole. I watched patients move through systems that focused on symptoms, diagnoses, and efficiency, often without the time or space to explore the deeper layers of what they were experiencing.

Why the little man in my logo?

My son has been drawing that small figure since he was a child. When the inspiration for the name Whole People came to me, it felt only natural that his drawing would become the symbol of this work - a reminder that healing is both deeply personal and profoundly human.
